| 1. Help/Respect Others |
| Your fellow guild mates are your in-game family, so treat them as such. This means be respectful of one another, help each other out. For example, if someone needs a hand and you aren't a continent away on a raid, take a moment to come to your guildmate's aid. Please don't charge your guildmates for buffs or gates. If you wish to accept money from others for your services, that's perfectly fine, but not amongst ourselves, please. |
|
| 2. Discourage Anti-socialism |
| Celestial Storm members seek out others to be sociable with. If someone seems to be left out, send them a tell and encourage them to join in the night’s fun. We feel that the social aspects of the game can add significantly to the fun of playing Everquest. When you see a member on the guild list you don’t recognize send them a tell and say hello. If someone seems to be off in a corner several weeks in a row encourage them to group up. |
|
| 3. Encourage Grouping |
| Celestial Storm encourages lower levels to learn and practice basic grouping skills, even if they feel they don't need to. We have and encourage ongoing discussions on grouping strategies as well as regular opportunities to group with guildmates. Regular multi group raids will take place for the mid and upper level members to further our grouping efficiency. |
|
| 4. Promote Excellence and Humility |
| We want to set ourselves apart from other players and guilds by being the best we can be. Study group tactics don’t just show up. Study your responsibity in a group. Excellence is a personal decision, and as Celestial Storm members we have made that choice; BUT by making that choice, we will not succumb to egotism or conceit. We will carry our excellence with humility because we know that great deeds are recognized by action, not by words. |
|
| 5. Have Fun! |
| Celestial Storm members are dedicated to having fun. We will not get so caught up with the need to level, comparisons to others, our own selfish desires, and other petty and unimportant things while loosing touch with the real reason we play Everquest: TO HAVE FUN!!! If we can't have fun playing Everquest then we shouldn't play. Remember, this is a game, and that’s all it is. We play this game to have fun and make friends. |
|
| 6. Maintain Game/Real Life Balance |
| If you really enjoy playing Everquest you may find yourself spending a lot of free time playing. This game can be very addicting and we encourage you to keep your real life in balance and keep your body and mind healthy. If you are skipping class, going into work late, neglecting family and friends, then there is a good chance you are “out of balance.” We encourage you to evaluate your priorities. Your body also needs good food, plenty of sleep and regular exercise. |
